2015 is off to a great start!

In my business, January is often the "calm after the storm". Not this year! We have hit the ground running and have been working on an exciting (and huge) aviation related commercial shoot. Arkansas has a good deal of Aerospace industry and the past few weeks I've had the pleasure of working with a company who dismantles retired aircraft, catalogs and sells the parts then recycles the rest. Documenting the process and photographing some key components has been my role. We started with photographing (and videoing) the Airbus A320 as it came in for a landing from it's final flight.  A few days later we were back at it to photograph the removal of the engines. That was an interesting day.  Twenty degrees outside and a 30mph north wind made for quite the challenge. After this big project is over our attention will be turning toward some things to come this spring. Exciting stuff on the horizon!
